I am literally crying watching this. I had my mirena taken out Thursday. And I feel the same way. I even had it once before with no problem. I however started the pill because of perimenopause. I’m going thru it. I just feel so validated by your story. Whatever you do, do not get your tubes tied! That is what I did after my first iud. I got it reversed which was expensive but I wanted another baby. My blood pressure went down and other medications I was on were cut in half. Keep your tubes in tact. I am hoping I can get thru this like you seem to be doing. This helps so much. Thank you!!

Currently, I'm on my second Mirena IUD. I went through my first 5 years with my first IUD and it was great! Now that I got it removed and got my second one put in, something has been feeling off about this one. Idk if it's because my second IUD is for 7 years and maybe a stronger dosage of hormones but it feels completely different than my first 5-year IUD. I'm very anxious, my libido is low, and my mood swings don't make sense. Hearing this gives me so much validation that I'm not crazy so thank you!
